Training at the stainless steel works W. Ossenberg & Cie.

As a solid and innovative medium-sized company, we offer secure and varied jobs. From the start of your training, you will work with young and experienced professionals and get to know the daily practice of our company as a team. Because we would like to take you into this team after you have successfully completed your training!

In general, training with us lasts 3.5 years. However, under certain conditions it can be shortened to 2.5 or 2 years. The training is spread over two locations: You will learn the practical aspects of the job with your colleagues here in Evingsen, the theoretical part will be taught to you by the respective vocational school, supplemented by internal training in the factory.

We don't train based on suspicion, but rather based on our needs! Through training, we invest in you and the continued success of our company. If you are suitable, you have a great chance of being taken on by the company.

That's why we form... commercial and commercial area in the professions listed below on a regular basis in order to use our own resources to prevent the shortage of skilled workers. We would be happy to provide you with information about these apprenticeships – just contact us!

Cutting mechanic (m/f/d)

In our tool shop you work on computer-aided turning or milling machines, on grinding or eroding machines or are the specialist for programming our machine tools.

Metal process technologist specializing in steel forming (m/f/d)

You work in our forge directly on our forging units, as a hammer or press operator or as a blacksmith on the manipulator.

Metal process technologist specializing in iron and steel metallurgy (m/f/d)

In our steelworks we melt the raw blocks for our forge. You help with steel production and thus lay the foundation for our company's success.

Machine & plant operator (m/f/d)

You will work like the steel forming process technologist in our forge, depending on your suitability on our forging units or on the manipulators. Compared to the process technologist, this position is characterized by a significantly shorter training period (2 years), so that you can get started in your working life more quickly with us.

Industrial clerks (m/f/d)

Here you will get to know the processes in all commercial areas of our company, such as sales, purchasing, order processing or the accounting and human resources departments.
