We are a medium-sized company in the steel industry with 85 employees and are looking for an employee (m/f/d) as a skilled blacksmith / production assistant m/f/d for our forging department as soon as possible
Your tasks:
- As part of a team, you will process our self-produced materials or contract forging grades into high-quality forged semi-finished products, bars, discs and blanks.
- You operate our forging units such as open-die forging presses and hammers, manipulators, etc.
- You will carry out transport tasks with industrial trucks in our company.
Your profile:
- Ideally, you have experience/previous knowledge in a forging or hot metalworking operation or experience in metalworking.
- If you are suitably qualified and motivated, we will train you intensively in the tasks as a career changer.
- You are physically fit, interested in handling large machines, have no problems with a hot workplace and are willing to work in a 2-shift system.
